Network to Network Strategies

Nevada Rural Hospital Partners, the Montana Health Network, the Western Healthcare Alliance (Colorado), and Health Future, LLC (Oregon) have joined together to create N2N Strategies, LLC. Composed of 105 hospitals, this new regional network is intended to expand the purchasing power of the member organizations.

Recent work has centered on building the new organization. Now that it is in place, the emphasis has shifted to programs and services that offer greater cost savings and benefits. To date, members of participating networks can access the following N2N programs:

  • Property insurance through Alliant Insurance Services
  • Employee background checks through a group HireRight contract
  • Charge master and charge capture assessment and recommendations for improvement through NRHP’s contract with Bay Area Healthcare Consulting
  • Coding services and compliance evaluation through NRHP’s contract with Bay Area Healthcare Consulting
  • RAC compliance evaluation and recommendations for corrective action through NRHP’s contract with Bay Area Healthcare Consulting
  • Remote pharmacy equipment through Western Healthcare Alliance’s contract with MDG Medical
  • Group purchases of CT scanners (through 2010)
  • Self pay and collection services through Western Healthcare Alliance
  • Standardized or customized employee education through a group contract with Silverchair Learning Systems
