Since 2011, Nevada Rural Hospital Partners (NRHP) has been integral to bringing high quality, cost effective MRI service to rural communities across the state. In 2020, NRHP was awarded a grant by The William N. Pennington Foundation to purchase a state-of-the-art mobile MRI system that services four member hospitals:

The new mobile MRI system has been built with patient comfort and safety in mind with reduced scan times up to 50% while preserving the image quality. It was deployed in July 2021.

NRHP facilitates a Mobile MRI Advisory group that meets regularly to discuss quality, review the scheduled routes, and to resolve any service issues.
